Check out the Boston marathon at the Lenox, in the historic Back Bay, near Copley Square. This glamourous Old World hotel features spectacular views of the finish line, and the attached Irish bar Solas serves up fine bloody mary's to watch the marathon in style.  Splurge for tasty food and drinks or avoid the lame $20 cover at Solas on marathon day by just going into the hotel, and checking out the view from the gigantic 2nd floor bathroom upstairs to see the marathon on the cheap...
