My husband and I had the good fortune to dine at the Cafe Verde in Phillipsburg, NJ.   We had read several nice reviews about it on the internet.  What a pleasant surprise!  We received excellent, friendly service, great food and a very pleasant dining experience.  It is a small friendly dining establishment overlooking the Delaware river (BYOB).   We began our meal with a very generous and tasty platter of hummus with warmed pita bread.  Our entrees were a quite tasty mediterranean chicken with feta, tomatoes, and Kalamata olives and a wonderful Sea Bass Piccata.  Both were excellent!  The entire dining experience was memorable and the bill was under $50 for both of us.  We are looking forward to going back again!
